Who organises KLAARA 2027?
Two universities organise KLAARA 2027:
- the University of Hildesheim with the Research Centre for Easy Language
- the PFH Private University of Applied Sciences Göttingen, Department of Social Work and Education
Research Centre for Easy Language, University of Hildesheim
The 5th KLAARA Conference is organised by the Research Centre for Easy Language.
The Research Centre for Easy Language is part of the University of Hildesheim.
The research centre has worked for many years on:
- Easy Language
- Plain Language
- accessible communication
- inclusive practice
The research centre collects and organises knowledge about Easy Language.
The researchers ask questions such as:
- What exactly is Easy Language?
- How can we make sure that Easy Language has good quality?
- Which rules are important?
- How do people use Easy Language?
The researchers write about these questions.
The researchers develop new ideas and models.
The researchers also do practical projects
For example: in health care, public authorities, education, culture and civil society.
The head of the conference is Professor Chris Maaß.
Professor Maaß is the director of the Research Centre for Easy Language.
Professor Maaß does research and teaches students at the University of Hildesheim.

PFH Private University of Applied Sciences Göttingen
The PFH Private University of Applied Sciences Göttingen also helps to organise KLAARA 2027.
