Conference Programme
Participants travelling to the venue are advised to arrive in Hildesheim on 27 May 2027. There will be opportunities for informal networking and professional discussion as early as that day.
The conference will open on 28 May 2027 at the Bühler Campus of the University of Hildesheim. The first day of the conference is designed as a joint plenary session and provides a comprehensive framework for key presentations. Following the official opening of the conference, there will be welcoming addresses from key figures in the field of Easy Language, as well as two keynote speeches. Later in the day, the section heads will present their thematic priorities and provide an insight into the focus of their respective sections. In addition, the KLAARA Prize for the best doctoral thesis in the field of Easy Language will be awarded during the plenary session. The opening day will be a hybrid event: the plenary sessions will be streamed and made accessible to all.
On 29 and 30 May 2027, the specialist sessions and workshops will take place, during which specific topics will be explored in greater depth. These sessions will be offered both in person and, in some cases, online, allowing for a variety of ways to participate.
Detailed information on the schedule and the full programme will be published on this website on an ongoing basis.
